Dibs went to a wonderful companion home as a young pup and grew up with two little boys. When the family moved across country to be closer to relatives, Dibs went with but he was not comfortable with all the "strangers" around his kids. Realizing this protectiveness was not something they were able to deal with, Dibs came back home. It took a while to decide where he would do best, but he made it clear that he was home to stay.

During Dibs' transition back to our home, he spent some time with Ray & Katrina Fryar of Rockin' F Aussies in Bryan, TX. We are grateful for the care and training they provided him.

After finishing his WTCH, Cheryl Padgett of Hardrock Aussies in Cartersville, GA was garcious enough to take Dibs home with her while I recovered from surgery and we got moved. She has been working him in Rally and getting him some quality time on stock. Her comments after he had been with her a few weeks...
"He came with manual steering and an emergency brake but most importantly a whole lot of heart."
They are making a great team in the rally ring and on stock. I am honored that Cheryl would take the time with him.

Dibs' ability to thrive regardless of where he lives, is a testiment to his sound temperament and work ethic. He is a pretty special dog.
